The challenge
NSP Phase 2 connects new reservoirs, pumping facilities and transmission pipelines to existing desalination and water-supply assets. Multiple sites and interfaces require consistent design principles with solutions adapted to local operating conditions.
Our contribution
Pipelab provides piping, process and mechanical final design for facilities including Duba, Ummlujj, Al Lith, Al Qunfudah, Farasan and Ukad. The scope brings station arrangements, storage, pumping and network interfaces into a coordinated design.
Engineering outcome
The engineering supports an interconnected supply system for the western provinces, with new storage capacity, integrated tie-ins and improved flexibility for regional water distribution.
