Shoaiba–Quaiza B
Commissioning support for a potable water link from Shoaiba to Jeddah’s South East and Quaiza reservoir facilities.
The challenge
The system connects the Shoaiba desalination plant with new reservoir infrastructure serving Jeddah. It combines an 88-inch transmission pipeline, two 170,000 m³ storage tanks and a 72-inch connection to Quaiza.
Our contribution
Pipelab’s scope comprises preparation of commissioning documentation and execution of commissioning activities on site. The work connects the requirements of the stations, transmission pipelines and operating interfaces.
Engineering outcome
The commissioning scope supports the controlled transition from construction to operation of a major potable water supply route and its storage facilities.
